- Worksheets, recent filings, demands, and hearing notices.
- Any official payment ledger available to you.
Prepare the payment and income records
- Receipts and bank records supporting payments or disputed credits.
- Recent pay records and tax returns; business records if self-employed.
- Documents showing job loss or other financial changes.
- Insurance, childcare, and relevant child-expense records.
Write down what you want reviewed
Explain whether you need an initial calculation, an increase or decrease, collection of arrears, or defense of a claim. Add a short timeline. Keep a separate list of custody, visitation, or legitimation concerns because those issues require their own review.
